Matthew 6:14 "For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you..."
Ephesians 4:32 "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."
The intent of this blog is to help guide, encourage, and enable each other to understand and practice true forgiveness. To forgive is not something that comes naturally to a person; we want revenge or justice - our pound of flesh. Throughout the Bible we are reminded that we are to forgive, as God has forgiven us. When we do not practice forgiveness our hearts become heavy, hardened, and cold - we also begin to isolate ourselves from others but most importantly we are isolated from God.
Hopefully this blog will flourish and help inspire people to forgive those who have hurt them and allow our hearts to heal. Once we choose to begin this process our relationships will be blessed and we will have the intimacy we have been craving since our conception.
My prayer is that God will bless those that share and those that read, hopefully we will all be encouraged and grow through this experience.
