Ted Dekker's Three, is an excellent thriller that will keep you guessing until the very end. The story begins with a cellphone call, "... I will give you exactly three minutes to call the newspaper and confess your sin, or I will blow that sill Sable you call a car sky-high." The calls are coupled with a riddle, the riddle helps determine the location of a of the bomb. The story also explores the notion that all sin is equal, gossip is no different than murder, etc. Besides being a very captivating story, Three poses some very deep questions about the nature of man and our manipulation of our own realities. Is our perception of the world actually what is happening, or so we simply sanitize everything we encounter to fit into "our world"? Three will shock you and keep you guessing but more importantly it will leave you thinking... If sin is sin, than gossip is murder?
