I just completed reading Ted Dekker's trilogy. Earlier I posted a mini review of Black, the other two books, Red and White, were even more captivating than the first book. It is a classic battle of good and evil, but I found myself gaining a different perspective of our own world through the book. In the book sin is shown by not accepting the salvation that was offered, but it was manifested by their skin becoming hard and cracking - their condition was apparent on the outside where in our world it is more of a condition of the heart. I found myself quickly absorbed by the story and in the end I had found another way to view our salvation that comes through Jesus.
On a side note, there is soon to be a fourth book released in this series, Green, in September 2009.
