2 Kings 7:3-4 "Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, "Why stay here until we die? If we say, 'We'll go into the city' - the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let's go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die.""
The four men were outcasts from the city due to their disease, but the city was surrounded by the Army and the people we starving. These men weighed their options and determined that they had one chance to survive and if that failed they would die - but they accepted they were going to die if they did nothing anyway. God used them to fulfill His prophecy and the city was spared - but what if they let fear and dread paralyze them? Would God have blessed them or the city? We need to act on our faith. Sometimes when the world is plotting against us - remember this story...
